Family Blog

A lot of our family played in this little ensemble for the Stake Conference music program.  It included Judd, Jackson, Michelle, Newell, Clarissa, Aiden, Thomas, Brynne, Nicholas, Juliette, and Estella.  You can't see everyone because it was in the chapel and I didn't want to be too obvious about the fact that I was recording on my iphone.  I just held it in front of me kind of tilted up.

My Mom made Ethan a Michael Jackson Thriller costume this year.  Ethan LOVED it!  The picture below was taken before the costume was done.  He just wore a pirate costume based on stuff we had.  Aiden was Aaron Rogers! My mom also made this monkey costume which Alexander is wearing!

Since I had a long day full of classes, Chris made Ethan's birthday cake and cupcakes for his class!  Good job Chris!

Aiden at his master class with "Professor Pat." Aiden and his technique teacher Amy Norton. Ethan didn't have much to do while Aiden was going to classes at the institute, so I signed him up for some camps at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.  That is him with the red shirt and white hat doing a lightsaber battle, This is my Mom and Ethan on top of the Conference Center in Salt Lake.  We took a tour on Sunday morning after going to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert. Aiden's repertoire teacher from Belgium, Wilfried Van Gorp,  tuning his violin. 

Here are some pictures of the day Ethan was born.  I can't think of a better way to preserve these than to put them on the blog. In the top picture, Jazzy, Jonathan, and my Mom were looking at the monitor strip and telling me I was having huge contractions.  Not too long after that he was born.  I like the picture of Chris looking so happy and proud.

We all went to Idaho to stay in a cabin in Harriman State park.  All the kids loved staying in the cabin, and Clarissa made signs with all the kids names on them by their rooms.  We all had a lot of fun and the weather was good.  The kids played nerf guns a lot and made fire.  When Chris made a fire, Ethan said his dad had brought honor to the family.  We also hiked a lot, and saw some wildlife.  My dad caught a fish and shared it with everyone.
