Ethan got on the news because he made a website so people could vote whether Ender's Game should be part of the 6th grade curriculum.  Another girl in his class emailed the news channel, which brought them to the school, and they interviewed she and Ethan.  Very cool for him to get in the spotlight for a few seconds!  They did end up allowing Ender's Game after a few months.

Aiden's school gave us a free school picture.  This one turned out nice so I wish I would have purchased the package this year.

Aiden's class made Minions.  The way their minions look depends on how they answered questions on a get-to-know-you game at the beginning of the school year.  What a fantastic idea.  This is Ethan's beloved fish, Fire.  He has lived a surprisingly long time. Aiden played Flag Football for the fist time this year.  He really enjoyed it.  Ethan and Aiden spent most of the day at Jen's house and raked a ton of leaves!
