Chris got bitten by a mosquito and it somehow got infected to the point he had a red line running up his arm. 

So, even though I haven't been reaching my goal of putting pictures on here every day, I am definitely getting better at taking more pictures and posting them!  Yesterday we walked to Canyon View to shoot some hoops and then in the evening we went to the monument and looked at stars.  We ended up going to a trail called "Ute Canyon" because it was really short and it has a great flat rock at the end of it that you can lie on.  It was a little scary because there is a huge cliff at the end of it, so we definitely had to watch the kids at all times and stay together.  There was no moon and no clouds and pretty warm, so it was a perfect night.  Ethan was full of questions about the stars.  I think I said, "I don't know" about 20 times.  He asked me things about black holes and the milky way and the north star.  Maybe we will do a little research!

 The mascot for Wichita State had us wondering what it was supposed to be.  We thought maybe Bart Simpson or a yellow cupcake?  Of course Chris knew it was some sort of shocker guy named Wushock.

I just now saw these videos of the kids swimming last summer.  We had a lot of fun with this pool, but Chris thinks it's too big of a pain to set up again. :(

These are some old pictures of the house Chris and I designed and built in 2006.  I loved the house, but not all the stress that went into it.  The kids were so little then!

I found these pictures on my memory card from my camera.  I have never seen these before, but I bet Ethan and Aiden took them.

 I finally have a day off from school so I went to the kids bus stop with Zoe to pick them up after school.  Luckily they saw me and ran the opposite direction from our house to come walk with me!

 Ethan built this complex shape at school.  Ethan is reading his salamander book for the class using the document camera.

 Ethan caught a huge fish when he was fishing with Bubba last summer!  He said his arms hurt after pulling it in!

 These pictures are old and I scanned them out of a scrap book made by some volunteer moms.  If anything happens to the scrap book, now I have these pictures on here at least!  Ethan was a SWAT team guy for Halloween!  Ethan loved light bulbs.  He wanted to be one for Halloween, but we couldn't find a costume, and I couldn't think of how to make one easily.  Here is his little note asking Santa for a light bulb costume!  For the 100th day of school Ethan brought 100 pennies.  Aiden usually came with me when I volunteered at the school.  My mom watched him sometimes too. Mrs. Meyer had a kitchen with plates and fake food and a table that Aiden loved to play with.  Field trip to the pumpkin patch!
